Daisy's Dog Grooming.
After receiving my BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, I started training as a dog groomer in 2017, quickly falling in love with the craft. Driven by a passion for styling and animal welfare, I worked my way up to Senior Stylist by 2019, managing the operations of five high-traffic salons. In 2020, I transitioned into the world of dog daycare management, gaining invaluable insight into canine behaviour and socialisation. However, my heart always belonged at the grooming table and so in 2021, I took the leap to go self-employed, allowing me to trade the big salon rush for a more focused one-on-one experience.

About me.
I graduated Harper Adams University in 2013 with a 2:1 degree in BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Welfare with a view to become a vet nurse. However, after getting a job in Pets Corner in 2014, I became interested in dog grooming. I started training as a dog groomer in 2017 through Pets Corner and Dogwood, quickly falling in love with the craft. Driven by a passion for styling and animal welfare, I worked my way up to Senior Stylist by 2019, managing the operations of five high-traffic salons. In 2020, I decided I’d like to be closer to home and applied for a grooming position inside a daycare where I built a business from scratch. Unfortunately this ended in redundancy so in 2021 (while heavily pregnant), I took the leap to go self-employed, allowing me to trade the big salon rush for a more focused one-on-one experience. I now have my own salon in my converted garage at home.
